Rug Hooking Classes
Rug Hooking I: Beginner

Class Times: 10:00 a.m. - Noon or 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Description: In this class you will learn the basics of rug hooking to complete the 14 " x 14" project that can be finished into pillow, chair pad or wall hanging, with a choice of colors to choose from. Students will learn the art of "pulling wool", proper form and technique to be a healthy, happy hooker. There will be discussion and examples of color planning, styles, designs and the care and history of hooked rugs.
Materials include, hook, pattern, wool to complete project. Students will need small pair of scissors and quilting type hoop, available in shop.
Advanced Beginners
Intermediate to Advanced

Classes are offered in a series of 6 classes over 12 weeks - held every other week.
Start Date: On-going, Call or email for class times and openings.
Day Class Hours: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Cost: $90 plus supplies.
Evening Class Hours: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Cost: $70 plus supplies
In the intermediate to advanced sessions, students can work from designs of their choice. We guide students through the process of selecting a design to hook or help them create a design of their own, for a unique one of-a-kind hooked rug. A positive, fun and creative environment is shared where all students are encouraged to develop their own style, grow, be brave and discover their creative muse.
